Drager have recently expanded their product range by introducing both the X-am 5100 and X-am 2500 portable gas detectors.

The X-am 2500 replaces the X-am 2100 series as a reliable source of detecting combustible gases and vapours.

This multi-gas detector detects 1 to 4 gases including O2, CO, NO2, SO2 and H2S, whereas the X-am 5100 is a single gas detector, designed to detect the presence of HF, HCI, H2O2 and hydrazine gases.

Both are now available via the Frontline Safety website and are ideal for ensuring a high level of safety.

Additional features of X-am 2500The Drager X-am 2500 was developed for use as personal protection and boasts fully developed high performing Drager sensors.  The monitor can be reliably used in industry, mining and in refineries and can measure even in low workplace limits.

It also features an innovative, catalytic Ex sensor which is highly resistant to silicone and hydrogen sulphide, a functional design and is available to operate with either alkaline batteries or rechargeable NiMH batteries.

See the table above for additional features of the  X-am 2500.

Released at the end of 2012, the Drager X-am 5100 is ideal for use in the manufacturing of petrochemical products, aseptic packing and also the handling of rocket fuel.

This instrument provides continuous, precise and reliable measurements with a special device design.  This allows fast sensor response and accurate measurement data by preventing gas adsorption on the device housing.

More features of the X-am 5100 can be seen on the table below.
