It’s capable of carrying out two different measurements. It can carry out a measurement of a person’s breath using the mouthpiece or it can carry out a passive sample of the ambient air, or breath of an uncooperative or unconscious person.

It’s both easy to use and read and the measurement functions are all operated with a single button.  The backlit LED display features clear full-text messages. to ensure that the usability of the unit is straightforward.  To use the Alcotest all you have to do is insert the Slide’n’Click mouthpiece and blow to produce a sample.

No.5 - Are the Drager Mouthpieces Hygienic?

Mouthpieces with non-return valves are also available, which are extremely hygienic.  The Slide'n'Click versions come with individual packaging.  This has the advantage of preventing manipulation attempts.
