Industrial Scientific Ventis MX4 Key Features
The Ventis MX4 is Industrial Scientifics four gas portable gas monitor within the new Industrial Scientific range at Frontline Safety. The monitor can detect up to four gases, including LEL (Methane and Pentane), Carbon Monoxide, Hydrogen Sulphide, Oxygen, Carbon Monoxide/Hydrogen Low. The monitor is also available in either a pumped or diffused version.

What are the Key Features?
Choice of Monitor Colour
The Ventis MX4 is made from a protective rubber overmold and is available in bright orange or black. The choice of monitor colour is excellent for simplifying fleet operations on-site, as managers can colour code personnel and areas on site.
Choice of Monitor Style
As well as flexible colour options, the monitor can be purchased in either a pumped or diffused style. The pumped monitor can be used for confined space entry and pre-entry checks with the sampling tubing provided in the box. The diffused monitor is for personal gas monitoring. Users can attach the monitor around their breathing zone with the clip on the back of the monitor. The personal attachment feature allows for hands-free gas monitoring.
Industrial Scientific also have the Ventis Slide-on Pump that can be used alongside any portable gas monitor from the Industrial Scientific Ventis Range – including the MX4. Using the slide-on pump allows users to change from a diffused style of monitoring to pumped. This slide-on pump accessory is great for users and applications that need a combination of pumped and diffused monitoring and removes the need for two different monitor types.
Customisable Triple Alarm System
The Ventis MX4 has a triple alarm system consisting of an audible, visual and vibrating alarm system. The loud audible alarm sounds at 95dB at 30cm. However, the sound can be customised to a low or high noise level to suit different application types. The visual alarm flashes red and blue, great for low and high noise applications.
Connected Technologies
The Industrial Scientific Ventis MX4 is compatible with some of Industrial Scientifics connected technologies. Site managers can use iNet Control with the MX4 and other monitors within the Industrial Scientific range to track monitor history, including alarms and maintenance needs.
