Use the ETI Bell Surface Probe to measure a wide range of surface temperatures thanks to the bell-shaped stainless steel housing. This particular version is the right-angled version (90°).
It is part of a selection of heavy duty and waterproof temperature probes. They’re suitable for use with thermometers and data-loggers with a type K thermocouple.
The response time of the probe is less than 5 seconds. According to ETI this indicates how the sensor takes to reach at least 66.6% of the final reading. This is an industry standard of reading measuring probe response time. It may be difficult to reach an accurate response without knowledge of the application as the results are dependent on the substance being measured.
