ETI offer a range of temperature instrumentation including probes, thermometers and dataloggers. This particular product is a binder probe which is an example of a k type thermo couple and is a hand held temperature probe. It features a rounded stainless steel probe which is designed to be inserted into Binder self-sealing glands.
The type of application which may make use of the ETI Binder Probe is temperature measurement in vessels or radiators. The Binder probe measures at 3mm x 130mm.
This K type probe has a very fast response time and can provide results in less than three seconds. It has a temperature range of -60 to 250°C and features a hexagonal handle manufactured from Triax. Triax is made from a nylon and ABS blend and is able to withstand a maximum temperature of 105°C. The hexagonal handle contains a Biomaster anti-bacterial additive as standard which helps prevent bacterial growth.
