The Reference Thermapen is another high accuracy PT100 instrument from Electronic Temperature Instruments. It’s ideal for comparison checks and for checking the accuracy of other thermometers and probes when used in conjunction with a stable temperature heat or chill source.
The ETI Reference Thermapen optimises battery life time. After ten minutes the thermometer will automatically power off, however this function can be disabled if it isn’t required. The lifetime of the instrument is expected to last for up to 1000 hours.
A stainless steel, liquid/penetration probe is incorporated into the Reference Thermapen. It folds back through to 180° and can be folded into the instruments when not in use.
