The Rigid Between Pack probe from ETI is suitable for use in transport and logistics type applications where the temperature between boxes or packs of produce must be recorded.
ETI offer the rigid between pack probe as a means of measuring temperature in between packets or boxes of produce. It has been specially designed and may be useful in transport and logistics applications. This particular version of the probe has a coiled lead.
The probe itself has been manufactured from a strong stainless steel material, whereas the handle is made from a tough ABS/nylon blend material called Triax.
It has a response time of less than three seconds. According to ETI the response time is the time taken for the sensor to reach 66.6% of the final reading (an industry standard of measuring probe response times). However, this is all dependent on the substance being measuring so it’s hard to obtain an accurate response without knowledge of the application.
