Christmas Delivery Information

The last order date before Christmas for in-stock items is Wednesday the 19th of December, 2018.  Please call our Sales Team on 0141 771 7749 to check stock levels before purchasing.   Please note that items not in stock or items that come direct from the manufacturer may not be delivered till after the 3rd of January.

Goods delivered to some destinations, primarily out with the EU may be subject to taxes, fees, levies or other additional charges laid out by local legislation. Any additional charges on a parcel must be paid by the recipient and are not the responsibility of Thermometer Shop.  Unfortunately we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. We recommend you contact your local customs office for additional information prior to ordering.

  • UK Mainland Standard Delivery – free on all orders over £75 ex VAT, otherwise £5.95 ex VAT*

Delivery Timescales and Important Info

With our Express Delivery option, you will normally receive your goods within 3 working days, providing items are in stock.  However, a next day delivery may be possible if ordered before 3.00pm (Monday-Thursday).  This depends on accessibility to product.  We will do our best to accommodate any special requirements so please check with our Sales Team for more information before ordering.

Items that are in stock and placed on a standard delivery service will be dispatched within a few days of ordering and delivery times (for UK only) will be around 3-5 days.  Although we carry an extensive stock, there may be some items that are unavailable due to quantities or otherwise.  In this case we will inform you of the status of your order and whether or not it can be fulfilled within our standard delivery timeframe. 

Orders to mainland UK are delivered Monday to Friday excluding weekends. Delivery to outlying areas, such as highlands and islands, may take longer.  All orders placed on a standard service are delivered by our courier APC.  Please note we do not dispatch orders on Saturday, Sunday or on bank holidays.  Christmas delivery schedules will also apply.

*Northern Ireland is excluded from mainland UK delivery costs - alternative costs apply.

Collect Using Your Own Courier

This delivery method allows you to arrange your own courier to collect your order. 

If you have opted to organise the collection from our Glasgow warehouse we ask that you complete the Courier Collection Form.  This will be sent to you from our Shipping department once the goods are ready to be dispatched from our warehouse.  Completing this information will help to ensure that the collection of your goods by your courier is as easy as possible.

We ask that when booking your collection with your courier you use your Frontline Safety order number as the pick-up reference number.  This will allow your courier to quote this number to us upon collection and we can identify your goods in our warehouse.

It is crucial you forward your courier shipping labels for the box and any associated documents, along with your completed form to shipping@frontline-safety.co.uk.  Failure to provide the shipping labels may result in delays with the dispatching of your goods. Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland

  • Standard Delivery Cost - £25 ex VAT

Delivery costs are based on maximum box dimensions of 36 x 36 x 36 cm and a maximum weight of 9 kg. You may incur an additional delivery charge if your order exceeds these limits. In the event of this happening, we will contact you directly to discuss.

You will normally receive your order within 10 working days, excluding weekends and public holidays, providing goods are in stock.  Please note that not all items are stock items and this may result in a slightly longer delivery time, please check with our Sales Team before ordering.
