The MicroCal 1 Thermocouple Simulator is designed to streamline the routine process of verifying thermometer accuracy. This versatile calibrator simulates specific temperatures, allowing you to test thermocouple types K, J, T, R, N, S, and E without requiring additional equipment or complex conversion charts. For added functionality, the MicroCal 1 Plus model can both measure and simulate temperature.
Key features of the MicroCal 1 include a custom 10mm LCD display with an alpha-numeric line that provides clear prompts when adjusting settings. Users can select parameters such as °C/°F, auto power-off (enable/disable), cold junction compensation (internal/external), and display contrast for enhanced usability.
An optional lead set is available, containing seven 1-metre PVC leads, each equipped with miniature plugs to match the K, J, T, R, N, S, and E thermocouple types. Every MicroCal unit is supplied with a 1-metre type K PVC thermocouple lead with miniature connectors and includes a five-point (type K) UKAS Certificate of Calibration. This certificate details deviations from standards across specific temperature points.
Thermocouple Ranges:
Type K: -200 to 1372°C Type J: -200 to 1200°C Type T: -270 to 400°C Type R: 0 to 1768°C Type N: -200 to 1300°C Type S: 0 to 1768°C Type E: -140 to 1000°C
