This Bell Surface Probe is part of a range of Type K thermocouple waterproof temperature probes from ETI. It’s ideal for measuring surface temperatures.
The Bell Surface Probe from ETI is a fast response, waterproof probe. It features a bell-shaped housing with a thin, flat, stainless steel measuring disc which ensures a fast response.
This particular ETI product has a straight probe and is ideal for measuring a wide range of surface temperatures.
It has a response time of five seconds. According to ETI the response time is the time taken for the sensor to reach 66.6% of the final reading (an industry standard of measuring probe response times). However, this is all dependent on the substance being measuring so it’s hard to obtain an accurate response without knowledge of the application.
