Powered by 3v CR2032 lithium coin cell batteries, the food thermometer has a battery life of 2000 hours. The auto switch off after 10 minutes also helps to prolong battery life to ensure your temperature checks are never interrupted. The integral probe with the thermometer is 85mm long and has a diameter of only 2mm; this allows you to take discrete food temperature checks, and the impact on food appearance is minimised.
