The thermometer has a large digital display that reads temperatures between -49.9 to 299.9 °C with a resolution of 0.1 °C; however, it can be switched to 1 °C if required. The automatic switch off in the device can also be turned off if not needed. The probe is readily stored by folding it into the side of the instrument to protect and transport the instrument and prevent damage to the air probe. With biomaster ABS casing, the thermometer is durable and protected from bacteria growth, and with an added rubber seal, the risk of water, dust and food ingress is minimised.
